Painter/Helper
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Knowledge of Paint Mil thickness
- Knowledge or experience in cleaning steel (SSPC-SP1 through SSPC-SP3)
- Experience with material handling, use of air supplies and airless paint sprayers, cleaning / maintenance of painting equipment
- Experience with Forklifts / Material Handling, preferably Steel
- Assist in level painters in the preparation of all surface’s, proper phases of preparation and material usage.
- Assist level painters in the painting of all surface’s, correct coating methods and material use. Air and Airless paint machine in water base and oil base materials.
- Assist in level painters’ preparation application of coatings and proper material usage.
- Ability to carry full 5-gallon container of paint or equivalent weight on stairs; ability to wear and use respirators; ability to work in all weather conditions applicable to painting; ability to work while on knees; ability to bend and reach while preparing and painting surfaces for entire work shift.
- Keep work area clean and organized as directed by Lead Painter.
- Complete task assigned by Lead Painter at budgeted labor hours to company’s standards.
- Assist Lead Painter as needed or directed
Other duties as assigned Experience:

Work Location: In person
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Hiring for 1st and 2nd shift, M-F and Saturdays may be required.
