We are a growing AISC certified miscellaneous metals/ structural steel fabricator and erector in the DC, VA & MD areas. We are currently looking for Fitter / Fabricators to help with assembling components for production.

Primary duties include:

• Measuring, laying out, aligning, and fitting fabricated metal work according to blueprints.
• Positioning metal work with overhead crane or forklift.
• Preparing steel for welding using grinder, etc.
• Welding in accordance to the blueprints and specifications.
• Finishing metal work (clean slag, splatter, or excess weld)
• Cleaning and housekeeping activities.

Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Structural Steel Fitting / Fabrication
Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, and lift up to 50 lbs
High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required).
Compensation will be determined based on experience and skill level.
Must have own transportation.
